DIC Announces Sponsorship of The Roofing Show on Fix Radio

DIC, the men's sun protection brand on a mission to reduce skin cancer through prevention, has announced its sponsorship of The Roofing Show on Fix Radio.

Using their unique blend of humour, DIC aim to cut through the noise and help men protect their skin. 

Hosted by roofing industry expert Danny Madden, The Roofing Show combines entertainment with practical advice to help roofers and builders grow their businesses, improve profitability, and stay informed on the issues that matter most to the trade. 

The partnership reflects DIC's commitment to protecting outdoor workers who face significantly higher levels of ultraviolet (UV) exposure than the general population. According to the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Skin, outdoor workers are particularly vulnerable to UV-related skin damage and face an increased risk of developing skin cancer as a result of prolonged occupational exposure.

Construction workers are among the highest-risk occupational groups, with research suggesting they are substantially more likely to develop skin cancer than those working predominantly indoors. Despite this, awareness and use of sun protection remains low across much of the sector.

DIC SPF 30 Daily Sun Protection was developed specifically to address common barriers to sunscreen use among men, including concerns around greasy textures, white residue, and strong fragrances.
